LGBTQ+ Counseling

Struggling in your relationship or in your friendships with other people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, or questioning? Have you recently come out to others and are still dealing with the mixed emotions you received upon telling others? Has someone recently told you about their change in sexuality and you aren’t sure how to properly support them or keep a healthy relationship going with them?

Helping you transition to this new change in lifestyle, find acceptance and learn how to accept others for who they are, are just some of the things you can expect to receive help with during a session for LGBTQ counseling.

People of the LGBTQ community may struggle with stigma and prejudice, which can become an obstacle to their well-being. Counseling can help support them and allow them to overcome these challenges. LGBTQ therapy involves welcoming people from all genders, orientations, and ideologies.

I strive to remain open minded and geared towards making sure you feel comfortable communicating with me. This ensures that you can grow as an individual in the LGBTQ community or succeed in accepting a friend or family member who has recently told you of their entering into the LGBTQ community.

There are an unfortunate number of people in the LGBTQ community dealing with mental and emotional health problems from either societal pressures, religious conflicts, self-conflict or relationships. There is no more need to struggle with this!

Same goes for those who are trying to grasp understanding or find peace-of-mind with their friend’s or loved ones transition into the LGBTQ community. This will allow you to strengthen your relationship with them.

Send me a message and we can get you set up with a free initial consultation.

My goal is to make you comfortable around me so I can better serve you. I offer online sessions so you can receive therapy in the area you are most comfortable.
